The You,M.D. exhibit from VERG was showcased at the 3rd Annual UF Professional Outreach Day 2011 at the University of Florida. The event was held to help elementary school students get a taste of science-based careers. The You,M.D. exhibit was part of the medicine section of the event and was well received by the students who were eager to talk to the virtual patient and play a doctor helping the virtual patient. To the left, you can see a photo of Gainesville Mayor Craig Lowe watching students try out the You, M.D. exhibit.
